RUdolph e. smith sr scholarship foundation
The Rudolph E. Smith Sr Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on providing scholarships to High School seniors in Indian River County Florida. The scholarship will help cover the cost of attending undergraduate or career/technical education programs.
The Rudolph E. Smith Sr Scholarship Foundation was founded in honor of the late Rudolph E. Smith Sr. He was a man of strength, integrity, and a burning desire to help anyone in need. He had a passion for driving “Big Rig Trucks.” He spent most of his adult life doing so. If he was not driving a truck, he would have spent his time with his loving wife and family. He truly was a man of immense love for people. Unlike the old saying “jack of all trades, master of none” he mastered everything he put his mind to. Although he did not attend any colleges, universities, or trade schools, he encouraged his children and grandchildren to do so because he understood the value of education.
Rudolph E. Smith Sr Scholarship Foundation was founded by Erika Carter who is the granddaughter of the late Rudolph E. Smith Sr. She was inspired by the giving heart of her grandfather and carries those same values. She wanted to make sure the legacy would carry on far past his death.
The purpose of this scholarship is to give financial help to those who wish to pursue a career path upon completion of high school and to push them to achieve greatness.
